What investors look for
Before asking for capital, understand how you will be evaluated.
An investor asks three questions: do I trust this team?, do the numbers make sense? and how protected is my money? Your presentation should answer all three before they have to ask.
What builds trust
- A verifiable track record: completed projects with real numbers and photos.
- Your own money in the project (co-investment).
- Control of the site (deed or signed contract).
- Conservative, explained assumptions, not the best case.
- Transparency about risks and what you will do if something goes wrong.
On Tierval: your sponsor profile and verified track record appear on the project page. Complete them before publishing.
Key points
- Team, numbers and protection: answer all three.
- A verifiable track record beats an optimistic projection.
- Co-investing shows you believe in your project.
